“I was 8 when the Chernobyl incident occurred. Now I’m 25. I was part of a group of exposed kids who received an experimental treatment of apple pectin.
We took doses every day, and we were tested before and after we started the treatment. I can’t speak for everyone involved in the tests, but I and my friends all think we’d have many more problems with our health if we hadn’t taken pectin. We saw what happened to kids who didn’t take the treatment… and it wasn’t good. So many people here have thyroid cancer and health issues. I was very surprised at my yearly physical when my cholesterol was above the optimal level. (I eat healthy and stay away from fast foods, and I don’t smoke.)
